Knowing the accurate weight of your horse is vitally important.

Weight tapes can be inaccurate by 100kg or more, making a weighbridge the only way to know exactly how much your horse weighs. Regular weight readings are also important for early identification of any gains or losses of condition in your horse before you may notice them by eye.

We offer complementary additional services with your booking if required, including tack weighing and as a fully qualified BHSQ Level 3 Groom we are also able to advise on Body Condition Scoring and weight management.

Our weighbridge is low profile and rubber matted, and most horses are happy to step onto it. It is fully calibrated on each setup, giving an accurate weight reading, even if the horse isn’t standing fully still. It is battery powered, making it ideal when no mains power is available.
